On September 27, at Kyiv Medical University, Binyamin Gurstein, Executive Director of Public Policy and Institutional Change at the University of Jena & V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, met with Ukrainian psychologist Yehor Kucherenko for a working meeting.

Collaboration with Yehor Kucherenko began more than five years ago.It was focused on exchanging experience in the field of academic achievements in interdisciplinary conflict resolution studies, particularly in Ukraine.
Yehor Kucherenko’s scientific team invited Binyamin Gurshtain to several scientific and practical conferences at leading universities in Ukraine. Today, Kyiv Medical University offers such cooperation. It has launched a new master's program in Clinical Psychology, which incorporates modern experience in providing psychological assistance during the conflict in Ukraine, in close collaboration with Ulster University in the United Kingdom.
Kyiv Medical University and the Ukrainian Institute of Psychosynthesis offer close cooperation within the framework of Jena University's projects, particularly those dedicated to conflict resolution at the level of psychological research and socio-cultural reforms in the field of reconciliation.Binyamin Gurshtain invited Yehor Kucherenko to the academic committee of the journal "Public Policy and Institutional Change in the Middle of Conflict " and to an international research project dedicated to social transformations during the conflict in Ukraine.
